Durant leads after morning wave
AVONDALE, La. - Joe Durant carded three straight birdies following his lone bogey of the day at the Zurich Classic New Orleans and grabbed the clubhouse lead by registering a 5 under 67. That was good enough to lead by one over Matt Bettencourt and Webb Simpson. Charley Hoffman, Billy Mayfair and Joseph Bramlett were two back after 69s. Among those teeing off in the afternoon groups were Luke Donald, Graeme McDowell and defending champion Jason Bohn. A complete story will follow the completion of play.
